FREE Watch Party for CYS Families

Cambridge Youth Soccer is partnering with Eastern Edge Food Hall for a free, family-friendly World Cup watch party as Team USA takes on Australia. Come join fellow CYS players, families, and friends to cheer on the U.S. together right here in Cambridge.

Eastern Edge will reserve a dedicated viewing area for CYS families including a projector screen, with overflow capacity available. The venue features a variety of food and drink vendors to purchase from β€” bring your appetite! Immediately adjacent to the Kendall Square Red Line station with nearby bus stops and parking options.

🌏  Cambridge United β€” City Events & CYS Mini-Pitch

The City of Cambridge is hosting a free, citywide series of outdoor soccer screenings and community celebrations all June and July β€” open to everyone, right in your neighborhood.

CYS is on the pitch β€” not just in the stands.

We aren't just watching β€” we are playing. CYS will help set up a Mini-Pitch Fan Zone at multiple neighborhood festival events. We need a dedicated crew of 3–4 coaches or parent volunteers per event to show up, pass out soccer balls, run quick mini-games for the kids, and keep the community energy high.

CYS volunteers joined the City of Cambridge at Harvard Square for an exciting evening of soccer activities for all ages, with Iraq vs. Norway on the big screen.

CYS ran the Mini-Pitch Fan Zone alongside the Afro-Caribbean Night Market. Kickoff was 9:00 PM.

CYS volunteers partnered with the City of Cambridge for this opening night celebration at Central Square. We ran mini-soccer games and inflatable foosball for local families while the community watched Haiti vs. Scotland.

Global Football Juggle Attempt

Where Football Lives β€” a global moment to celebrate football and highlight climate impact on the game.

Football communities across the world came together to juggle a football for 10 consecutive seconds as part of an official Guinness World Recordsβ„’ attempt. Funds raised supported adaptation of grassroots football sites in the U.S. and Mexico.

β“˜  This event was sponsored by the Kendall Square Association, which generously provided 100 free registrations for CYS families using code KSAZERO.
