Weekly Referee Assignments
Once you have been approved as a CYS Referee and have completed your Credential requirements, you are eligible to apply for Saturday Referee assignments. Please be very mindful of the deadlines! If you have any questions, text Jessamy, the CYS Referee Coordinator.
Step One: Indicate Your AvailabilityFirst, tell us when you’re available to work this coming Saturday by completely filling out the Availability Form. DEADLINE: Sunday midnight.

Step Two: Confirm Your Assignment
CYS uploads game assignments on Tuesday afternoon. If you can referee your assigned game, simply add your initials. You also can leave notes to indicate that you can’t ref that game or to offer to work additional games. If you haven’t received an assignment, we'll try our best to give you a game next week.

Step Three: Double-check Your Assignment
Double check your assignment on Friday morning. If there’s an issue, text Jessamy ASAP.
Saturday Game DayWhen you arrive at Danehy Park, check in with Keven, Clare, or Santiago, then go to your assigned field 20 minutes before kick off to meet the coaches and check player equipment. Be sure to wear your referee jersey and appropriate shoes, bring your whistle and timer, and put away your cell phone.
Final Step: Enter Your Game Log
Finally, fill out your Referee Game Log by Sunday at midnight. If you encountered any unsportsmanlike behavior by players, coaches, or fans, it is important to tell us here. You must fill out your Game Log in order to be paid for your work!
