CYS/CRLS Soccer Partnership
Over the past several years, Cambridge Youth Soccer and the CRLS Girls and Boys Soccer Programs have built a strong partnership. Approximately 90% of the players in the CRLS program have played with CYS teams. Many return to work with younger CYS players from age 4 through 8th grade in various programs and clinics such as...
- KickStart:
High school players are paid coaches working with our Pre-K and Kindergartener players.
- Fall Clinics:
the Girls Varsity works with our 7/8 Girls and the Girls JV team with our 5/6 Girls.
- Winter Futsal:
the CRLS Girls teams invite our 8th graders to play futsal with them in February and March.
- Spring Clinic:
the CRLS Girls Coach and Varsity Captains hold an information session about the CRLS program, registration, and CRLS tryouts for our 7/8 Girls who are thinking about trying out to play CRLS soccer in the fall.
- Captains' Practices:
the Varsity Captains invite our rising 9th graders to train with them in preparation for August tryouts.
