About Us

Founded in 1979, Cambridge Youth Soccer (CYS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides healthy team-sport experiences to over 2,000 young people in the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Our volunteer-led programs currently serve girls and boys of ages 4-18 with both Cambridge-based leagues and club travel teams playing in the New England Club Soccer League (NECSL). CYS is affiliated with the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA).

We envision a happy and healthy community of children in the city of Cambridge.

Cambridge Youth Soccer provides every child in Cambridge the opportunity to play soccer in a fun, supportive environment.

Everyone Plays!

Every year Cambridge Youth Soccer provides approximately $100,000 in financial aid to make sure that every child in Cambridge can play soccer regardless of family income.

Financial aid also enables every young person to learn about teamwork, make new friends, develop athletic skills, and feel like they belong in our community.
